1971                   Passed RIBA Intermediate Examination at Portsmouth School of Architecture: Thesis design - Sports Centre, Central Portsmouth.

 

1971                   Employed by Cross and Kellaway, Bournemouth: School at Maidenhead, Church in Poole. Employed by Derek Lovejoy and Partners, Christchurch: service station modernisation programme for Esso southern and south west England: speculative housing and holiday park buildings.

 

1972-74             Final two years of Diploma in Architecture course at Portsmouth  School of Architecture.

 

1973                   Easter vacation: employed by Peabody Trust, London; Housing in Lambeth

 

1973                   Summer vacation: employed by F. R. Steele & Partners, Chichester: Two School extensions in Shoreham for West Sussex CC.

 

1973-74             Thesis: Dissertation: 'A National Airports Policy'. Building Design: Passenger Terminal Building, Bournemouth Airport

 

1974                   Obtained Diploma in Architecture

1975                   Passed RIBA Part 3 examination: registered with ARCUK
