1974-75             Employed by Jackson, Greenen, Down & Partners, Bournemouth: Town Centre redevelopment, Wimborne; Branch offices for two Building Societies in Newport, Bideford, Exmouth, Great Yarmouth, Launceston; old peoples sheltered housing, Poole: Conversion of department store into shop units and offices, Bournemouth.

 

1975-76             Employed by Leslie Jones and Partners, Poole: New workshops and associated facilities for the RNLI in Poole: Town centre redevelopments, Poole and Newton Abbott

 

1976-82             Employed by Derek Lovejoy and Partners, Christchurch: Project Architect for Treatment and Administration Buildings, Peel Common, Fareham, for the Southern Water Authority (£6m approx. @ 2008 values). New public house, Brockenhurst: Reception building, holiday park; Bedroom block, hotel. Supervision of construction of control and treatment buildings, Marchwood, for the Southern Water Authority: Two blocks of elderly persons flats, Lymington; Speculative housing, New Milton: flats complex, Mudeford, for Christchurch B C

 

1982                   Left Derek Lovejoy and Partners to establish own practice with office in Bournemouth

 

1998                   Opened office in Chiswick, London

 

2006                   Ceased full time practice in my own name and joined smc Charter Architects in Bournemouth

 

2007-08             Employed by Michael Phillips Architects in Lymington

 

2008-09             Contract with SouthWest One (Somerset County Council) Architecture Team, Taunton2010

 

2010-12             Senior Architect with Western Design, Blandford Forum

 

2012                   Re-established John Lewis +Associates in Bournemouth
